This is the 99th year of the Pacific National Exhibition. Originally opened in 1910 by Sir Wilfrid Laurier the Canadian Primeminister at the time. This annual event draws over 900,000 visitors over it's 17 day span. The weather was unusually fine for the PNE as it normally rains.
Sharon and Meighan who had the magic 'go on all rides' stamp on her wrist on the ferris wheel. We got there are opening time so the line was tiny. Later in the day the line was HUGE!.
There were tons of different rids for the kids ranging from the slow moving boats to the pretty quick roller coaster. Further along in the fair - this place was huge - there were rides for the grown ups.
Meighan having lots of fun on the ride.
Ohh the slide! Nothings better than a high speed run down a slippery slide. So much so Meighan decided to go twice!
Did someone say 'Cotton Candy'!!! This colour coordinated stack of sugar was gone in no time, thanks to some adult 'assistance' hehehehe!
Super Dogs! That's right, lots of doggies doing tricks on a course they've never done before. This tiny guy caught my eye. I can't remember the breed. but man this dog was sooo little.
Check out the adult hand size to give you some scale. Sharon saying hi to the doggie.
So little!
