The interweb...
Websites have become an essential marketing tool for companies and individuals. The commercial sites have to be in keeping with existing branding rules and colours.
The personal sites have far more freedom. Sometimes this freedom can make the design job harder because there are so many themes, colours and layouts to choose from. This is a task that can be quite daunting for those clients new to the web.
Below are the sites I have created for friends and myself.

About some of the websites...
GottaHave.co.nz
The gottahave website had to mirror the branding. It's layout and design were produced in flash. One of the main requirements was that the client was able to change content and add new sections and content to the storefront as they needed them without any technical input. The site is driven using xml files.

Yale Motors
The design brief was to make a quick and easy way for potential customers to find the kind of car they were looking for. They could search for a certain year, model and other items and get a cleanly presented list of results back.
The admin section was styled to look exactly like the site with styles applied so they they know exactly what their content will look like when it's published site without having to have any complicated training to do with the content management system.

KLK
Similar to an internet radio station, KLK's purpose was to broadcast trailers to the media hungry masses. One of the set backs was sourcing content that didn't choke a low speed internet connection
